This place has it all!. A large variety of fruits and vegetables, live fish and seafood area. They make fresh sushi and poke bowls plus a mini food court area with a Paris Baguette Bakery!!.
I had so much fun looking around the store.
The service was friendly and the store was nice and clean and well organized.
I will definitely be coming back for more!.
Plus they have a FREE PARKING lot!.
Over all I rate this place a 10/10.

This was my first time visiting this H Mart location. It was 2 hours from closing on a Sunday. I was impressed by the cleanliness and inventory. The shelves were very well stocked! I was impressed by the freshness of everything- especially for the time of day!

Why do they hire these people? They work there but answers to any question about where things are, or if they have something is, “I don’t know”.

There’s one young woman at the customer service desk and all the floor worker referred us to her when asked questions because they didn’t speak english. You ask her a simple question about where are okras besides the packed ones, and she answers “We don’t have stock in the back.” No girl, I’m asking what aisle other okras are in if there are other non pre-packed options!

Then this one got me fuming. We go to the live fish section, buy 4 fish and asked it to be cleaned and cut in half. That’s it. We went back and forth with her to confirm she won’t cut off and discard the head. She said okay.

Well we get home and my umma got upset because she opened the bag and saw that there were missing heads! What the heck! Unacceptable

Mold, mold and mold. Hmart needs to step up their produce department with the amount of mold they have. Even the garlic that is sealed in the jars are molded. Be careful when buying produce. Especially vegetables on sale. They tend to be molded or near spoiled.

Fun Korean market in downtown Chicago! There is a bakery and other dining options right outside the main grocery store. Fresh produce and extensive frozen sections. You can pretty much find anything you need here.

I finally got to try the famous H Mart and they did not disappoint....they seem to have almost everything for an aisan grocery store with many fruits and veggies that I've never heard of many fresh seafood and meat at a great price....the more $$$ items are the kimcih and noodles one whole aisle of great ? in every version you can think of...I do love rice porridge ? and I finally got to try the seaweed triangles ( sorry, I don't know the proper name ) I got the kimcih and spam..and the spicy ?...so good!!! The place is a little on the $$ side but if you have so time you should at lest give it a try and go in...P.S they have a great full bakery and a full restaurant ? in the store..how cool is that it's a one stop shop with most staff and cashier people .

This place is so cool. The produce,meat,and seafood are all so fresh. There is so much in one store. I could walk around for a long time just checking out everything they have. They have a Paris Baguette, and two other restaurants in the grocery store. I definitely will be back!

Who'd think there would be a Korean grocery store downtown Chicago.
It is smaller than the suburban counterparts but still packed with products.
They still managed to get a food court inside! Quick good hot meals.
