I got my Doberman this past February and decided to better train my rescue pitty. I've been using American Standard Dog Training to help with training my dobbie pup and adult pitty. I've watched this program since I found it on the phone. I recently told my son who has adopted an English Bulldog and is doing a wonderful job training Leo with the tips I've given him from your show. This method of training has really helped me as a dog owner understand how to work more successfully with my pup. The methods are logical and explained simply, and help you to better understand the training from your dogs perspective. I'm really grateful to have stumbled upon the YT channel while training my new puppy. She still has a way to go, but she's improved significantly just following the YT videos and using a prong and E Collar properly. Our bond has definitely strengthened as well. Thanks to Garret, I finally have a dog that I can take into a store and feel proud and confident that he will behave. And this was just with the obedience 101 course. We are now working on the leashed course and have a ways to go yet but we're getting there.

Meet Nova, she is a Siberian husky- German shepherd mix! She is 10 months old. We got her a week before thanksgiving 2024. We were a bit nervous, since she is our first pet ever! We have been training her with advice from Garret’s video and she has been learning and improving so much! She was a very nervous dog, scared of going on walks and pulled on the leash. Now she loves walks and is very curious of the outdoors. We love his videos!

I have used the youtube videos for my pups, Pebbles and Bam Bam. Have not found anything even close to these. If you follow the instructions and follow up regularly your dogs will be amazing members of your family. Thank you so much for making them available to everyone. You rock.
