I called H&A Auto about a pre-purchase inspection on Saturday morning on a used car I was interested in buying. They quoted me a very reasonable price and I schedule a time to bring the vehicle in on that same day. They test drove it, placed it on a lift and conducted a thorough inspection and gave their opinion on the work that should be done. A must do for any used car purchase, thank you again for such great customer service, the car tips and the overall experience.

H&A Auto is the repair shop I've put my trust in for over 15 years for many reasons. They've been written up in the local newspapers, and that's because their service is a throwback to the good old days. H&A is dependable, and when I take my cars there, I know I'll be taken care of, not charged for anything that isn't absolutely necessary, and educated as to what may require maintenance in the future. I have had my cars serviced here for several years. I am happy with Gary's high quality and honest work. The price is reasonable. He charged me $15 to change a head lamp, free for a quick diagnosis of engine light on, cheap regular maintenance. Being here many times, I met many happy customers. My next car will be a Honda or Acura because I know that it can be taken care of here.

Even though H & A specializes in servicing Honda's and Acura's, they took in my Toyota Corolla and handled the installation of my struts, replacement of my brake and power steering fluids, and many of my oil changes.

Their were instances where Gary gave me a discount after quoting me - I'm guessing because he didn't spend as much time as he originally thought. The thing is, I was already content with the quote and then instantly happy when I saw a discount!

Gary and his garage is the best I have encountered in nearly 40 years of owning and servicing cars. His work is always done right and on time. He charges a reasonable price. And he tracks the health of your cars over time the way a good physician monitors your body. He NEVER does unnecessary work.

We have developed such a high level of trust in Gary that we actually now purchase used cars rather than new ones that he will service. We know that with his skill and honesty (and the mild OC climate), that cars under his care can last many years beyond their typical life.

Kathy, who handles the front desk, is also a marvel. Appointments are always on time--no wasted minutes at the garage.

H&A is one of the best things about living in the OC. I recommend them without qualification!

I've never had any issues with this location. Been bringing my cars here for many years. Jeff has always been straight about what's needs to be done, but also about items I should be on the look out for in the future. I would highly recommend them for your car needs, especially with a Japanese made car.
