Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, Zimmer ok nur WiFi funktioniert nicht überall, für einen Kurzaufenthalt ausreichend.

Great room! Close to the supermarket, convenience store, food, park,and very nice town in all. Lots of wildlife moving through the town at night. So be forwarded lol! People were very nice. ¹nice bridge I found past the BBQ spot. Over the river. The atmosphere is laid back and simple. Quiet after about 10 pm. The only thing about the room that was pretty rough was my bed and the pillows. The bed was rock hard and the pillows were so flat they gave no support. Because of that I can't stay there again. But still all in all a great place to stay.

NOT pet friendly despite what they tell you. I understand the extra fee, however then we were not allowed to go eat dinner at the many cool establishments in Idaho Springs without talking our pup. We couldn’t leave her… well I’m not leaving her in the car while we eat in cold Colorado nights so we ordered pizza. Rooms are fine, however we book this because it’s the only “ pet friendly “ spot we found.

The place only has management when the owners are present. JB is clearly a very hard worker but his brother in law seems to have been given a position that he is incapable of.
I rented a weekly room and was told I would need to move midway through so that the floors could get done. Great because they are cleaning up the place.
I took off work mid day Monday and checked out with the front desk to be told there wasn’t another room for me. I was told there was nothing they could do until the owner was back when I called him that evening he said yeah come on back and it was too late. It was after seven and he was less than pleasant. All I asked for was either half of my money back, or when I got back into town on Thursday. If I could have the extra days on the end, he was beyond rude.

We were warned the rooms heater ran on the worme side. So we left the windows open. Ppl smoking outside asked them to move further away, and they did, but smoke is in our room now. And we need to shut the window. Not the only smokers. At least the first guy spoke English and apologized. The other people are fighting and smoking most of the night. I think they had a bet going on to see how many people would come out and tell them to shut up. They just love to be jerks. I never had rude Spanish speaking people until that night. Not the hotels falt though.

The hot tub and sauna are permanently closed. Why wouldn't you remove them from your description?

Unfortunately we paid with points before reading the other comments as many are a one star.

We came while they were renovating the roof making a mess out of the parking lot. And the roofers got a show they probably didn't want to
see.

The place was at least clean. That is why they get the one star. If just pulling in for the night and you want to pay a lot for nothing, you won't be disappointed. There is an Alta station for coffee if you are looking to wake up out of the daze.

Warning to others, do not have a horriffic car accident and spend the night here. They will harrass and ticket you about improperly parked broken vehicles waiting on a tow to the junkyard while paying to be in their outdated grungy room. The reception is their only redeeming factor, hard working people who deserve a better boss.

A group of 4 of us arrived Sunday evening for 2 rooms. Paid just over $100 for each room. Room #1 bed was soo soft you just sank into mattr, worst sleep ever. No hair dryer, towels thin and scratchy. T.v are 19”- good luck see that across the room. Room #2 had no heat. Gave them radiator heaters that blew the fuses so they got moved to another room. All plug ins and appliances look like they’re from the 60’s. If all of this wasn’t bad enough at about 7:15-7:20AM roofers were crawling all over the building we were in. They started ripping roof off with no concern of the motorcycles and cars below . Our motorcycle seats were covered in roof trash by 7:30AM! Not to mention the nails and everything being thrown in driveway. Nothing like waking up to a strange man literally standing on the window ledge 2 foot from me in bed. The curtains didn't close all the way so he may or may not have gotten a little show. After the worst nights sleep I’ve gotten in years we went To return key and inform the front desk woman and she was hatful saying the new owners are doing a remodel and too bad basically. If we were told at check in that they were roofing the building we wouldn’t have stayed here.
