5 Stars, for a store with so many unique choices makes this place a must go to. You'll find so many things here other grocery stores don't offer. Specializing in lots of Asian items...
Prepared food, meals, ready to eat, sit and eat or made to be reheated.
Including, a produce department full of all good things, seafood, meats(loads of thin sliced meats), sauces, noodles, even rice cookers!
Everything is nicely labeled describing and easy to understand what it is!
Too much to list here so make a visit asap to see for yourself.

Good supermarket for Asian groceries. Fruits & vegetables are extremely fresh.

I really like the sushi counter in the rear. You can see the chef diligently working his craft.

The sushi rolls are very good & reasonably priced. The sashimi looks great ?,

They allow you to order ahead for large platters. It is recommended if you are throwing a party. ?

Insufficient seating & large crowds is the only down side I can see…

H Mart is my go-to spot when I’m feeling homesick. It’s convenient, and the store offers a variety of kind of home-style products, just like the ones I’ve shown in the pictures I posted.

Tomatoes are not fresh and can't be eaten. They said they would refund me, but I needed to take it back to the supermarket, I'm not driving 5 miles for $6 .this has happened several times, and it was the last straw.

Terrible customer service at the cashier, but good price and excellent selection. A little crowded but manageable. I simply don’t understand how any cashier can discriminate customers simply due to their language and colour. If I buy a produce that has been weighted and packaged by the seafood department and then the cashier has to leave the entire checkout line on a Saturday just to verify the price of a produce with the seafood department again, then either there is lack of trust between the departments/cashier or there is a discrimination or lack of trust on the customer (but only to selective customers with colour). Everyone’s time is just as valuable as the goods you are selling, so please stop wasting my time for your lack of judgements and trusts. (Hence 3 stars subtracted)

Alexis (Soja Exiles)

This is one of two Hmart that are about 15 minutes away from my residence.  I believe this is the better of the two, mainly due to the sheer size and options.

Beware, it's usually really cold, so if you're sensitive to the cold, bring a jacket.  Saying that it's cold is a good sign that they care about freshness.  A cold location means they are not skimping on the electric bill.

Hmart focuses on Asian food, predominantly Korean, but realistically you can find pretty much food from all major groups.  Their fruits and veggies are extensive, their fish are fresh, the staff are friendly and get the job done.

They also have some private shops inside, including a poke, bakery, Korean kitchen and even a flower shop.  There is seating, so you can eat, have a coffee and continue shopping, super convenient.

Clean bathrooms available inside and plenty of parking, this place is a bit more pricey than other shops of this nature, but more affordable than the local supermarkets, it's a good mid level place, and if you get their rewards cards,  you can save a couple of more bucks that way as well.  Overall, a great place.

Note: there is a a Dunkin next door.

So, I made my first trip to H Mart today, and let me tell you, it was way more interesting than your average grocery run! Right after entering, my nose was met with the tempting aroma of fresh baking – turns out there's a Korean bakery tucked away to the right, selling gorgeous cakes, pastries, and steaming cups of coffee. Perfect spot for husbands or partners who might be suffering through shopping fatigue!

But H Mart holds much more than deli ious distractions. For any fellow Asian food fans out there, this place is a treasure trove! Shelves piled high with snacks, sauces, and ready-to-eat meals made me feel like I'd transported to a Seoul supermarket. And the fresh fish counter at the back had me drooling – seriously impressive selection!

If you're looking for everyday essentials without breaking the bank, you're in luck. I spotted several over-the-counter medications a dollar or two cheaper than at CVS, which is always a win in my book. And don't miss the fruit section – juicy, colourful, and just begging to be tossed into the cart.

Overall, [Supermarket Name] surprised me with its unique blend of Asian specialties, budget-friendly finds, and unexpected treats like the bakery. It's definitely a store I'll be coming back to explore further – and maybe grab a pastry for good measure. Highly recommend checking it out!
