We couldn't be happier with the boarding and training experience for our dog, Finley. He learned so much in two weeks and we've already experienced the benefits of his training many times since getting him back. Sarah was fantastic—she communicated regularly with daily updates and videos showcasing his progress, which eased our minds during our time apart. Her constant support made us feel confident he was in great hands and cared for. Finley definitely enjoyed his time! Highly recommend this service!

K9 off Leash Training is the BOMB!!! Alyssa is very patient with the animals. My Aspen spent 2 weeks with her and he just fell in love with her. He has been back home for 3 days and he follows the commands as if he was still with her and he’s no longer a barker! Thank you thank you thank you! If you are considering Alyssa. If you are thinking about going through Off Leash K9 Training for your dog, this is your sign to DO IT!!! My 7 month Golden Retriever, Lady, was extremely energetic and overly excited about all things, which caused lots of frustrations at home, in public, and with family and friends. After her 2-week board and training with trainer Sarah, Lady returned home finally living up to her name! (I had contemplated changing Lady's name to Demon because she certainly was! ?) There's nothing better than having your dog live at home with an amazing trainer! Lady learned so much so quickly with Sarah's training and now follows all commands immediately and consistently. The most impressive thing is how amazing her impulse control is now! Lady now quietly and calmly observes things and is so much more observant and ready to listen to / follow commands all thanks to the exposure of different environments and distractions that Sarah provided during her training. Sarah sent me daily updates with photos and videos and answered all questions in a very timely manner. Plus she shared that I can contact her in the future at any time if I have questions or need some guidance while I continue working on maintaining Lady's training at home. This investment is most definitely the best investment you can make for your dog AND family, and we are extremely appreciative for everything Sarah and Off-Leash K9 Training did for us. We finished our 8 week training program a few weeks ago, and I will say it is the best way we have ever spent money for our dog, Asher. Matthew, our trainer, tailored the aggressive/reactive dog program to Asher and our needs. We have learned how to manage the reactions in a safe and healthy way for all of us.
Before training we couldn’t take him out without worrying he is going to react. Now, we have the tools needed to handle any situation that comes our way and Asher has become a much more confident dog! Thank you Matthew and Off-Leash for giving us the training and tools needed to live a better life.

We had the pleasure of having our pup go through training with Off Leash K9 training. After back and forth consideration upon utilizing service's, with the help and alignment from Alyssa, things began to take shape. Our pup then met Carson; what a phenomenal human! (Which is an understatement!) Instant connection with our Pup Pharoah and off to Hogwarts he went for a 2 week board & training! The passion, dedication and attention to detail Carson exuded while training our pup was astounding! Words can not express our appreciation & gratitude. It’s now been about 1 week from going through training and life could not be better! Manners are an understatement and higher self of steam radiates from our pup! Thank you Carson for bringing your skills and passion to Off leash K9! It was truly an honor to have you as our pups trainer. I can’t express how happy I am with the 2 week board and train experience. Sarah was so great to work with, and would send me daily videos and photos of my dog in training. Matthew did an amazing job training our Newfoundland dog Burly in the 2 week board + train program. Burly mastered heel, sit, down, come, place and off. Learning heel was a game changer for us because of Burly’s size he was difficult to walk and always pulling at anything he wanted and now he has the best heel I have ever seen!! Burly also made incredible progress with his resource guarding which was the main reason we initiated training. Burly is now able to drop any item on command and we have the tools to continue to practice this at home and strengthen his skills. Matthew did a great job exposing Burly to many distracting elements, and teaching him to follow the commands in public places where he previously did not always listen. Matthew was able to cater the program to Burly ‘s needs and Burly absolutely loved all of the one on one training time he received. On top of the great training, Matthew took great care of Burly ensuring loads of play time and exercise despite the harsh Chicago winter. Matthew also sent us daily video updates on Burly’s progress and it was very reassuring to check in on how he is doing. We highly recommend this training program to anyone that is considering it and it was completely worth the cost! Thank you for all the help!!!

Alyssa at Off Leash was fantastic! My 2 English Cream Golden Retrievers (Sunny & Sawyer were “trying to kill me”. They would pull full force on leash walks and pull me down, ignore me when I called them or gave a command. They were going rogue and I was desperate for help. They each went for the 2 week board & train program and they are truly different dogs. I am able to take them to parks and let them off leash and their recall is amazing. They both will heel nicely on leash which makes our walks so much more enjoyable. They listen and obey my commands and know I am in charge yet I can still be a “dog Mom” and give and receive kisses and cuddles. They are transformed. Off Leash and Alyssa were my saviors!
