Dr. Bhatt is great! I would definitely recommend her. She was kind and caring. Explained everything thoroughly & treatment was successful. I had multiple visits & waiting time was less than 10-15 mins. Nurses were great. Although the comments speak badly of her staff not so much her, I have had no problems reaching front desk or with insurance. All I ever paid was my co-pay. Insurances do list in network doctors but it’s not always accurate. I call the doctor’s office to confirm it’s in network before making the appointment. Blood work is not done at her office. I went and got it done elsewhere & she received it from the place I went before my next appt. Which is the norm almost everywhere. No issues in their Orland office.

I have been to Dr. Bhatt a few times and have always had a good experience. The front desk lady was very rude when I asked a question about the card on file policy and told me I can read it and find out myself. I read it to her to show that my question is not answered. She then answered my question. Also when I was scheduling I asked if I can see someone else as I didn’t want to drive 40 mins to Orland and they told me I couldn’t. Dr. Bhatt was in and out for my exam then told me I can see anyone next time. It seems their front desk staff is very confused and unprofessional.

Absolute rip off. This place used to be fine, but they do have a greedy, controlling, and rude secretary who runs the show. She has short hair, older, and wears glasses. I came in for consultation on a procedure and was charged for 2 different things. I wasn't in the room for more than 15 minutes of discussion. When the PA came to straighten it out and clearly explain to the secretary what went on, and how to charge, the secretary insisted on doing it her way. When I saw the 2 charges, I called them about it, and the secretary responded and refused to correct it. Be really careful because although the professionals are fine here, the secretary is the boss and will dictate everything based on her own unreasonable understanding. Needless to say, I will not be back.

I called my insurance to make sure that this doctor was in my network and she was. I made an appointment with this office and they requested a copy of my insurance card, which I sent. I drove 40 mins to the Burr Ridge office because I had a skin emergency and was trying to see a specialist and not sit in the emergency room. When I got there, the receptionist was cleaning her nails. She asked for my insurance card and then turns me away. She says they don't take my kind of insurance. I have reported this to multiple entities. I'm hoping that no one else gets turned away like this again.

I made an appointment over a week ago to get in to have Dr. Bhatt or her PA look at a possible cyst. I found out today that I need a blood transfusion (at the same time as my appointment with Dr. Bhatt) and I’m starting Chemo Monday. The receptionist couldn’t have been more rude or less understanding while begging to try and squeeze me into any other appointment time. She couldn’t even bother to ask the doctor or explain the situation to see if i I could get a different appointment. Needless to say I will not be going back to this office ever again. Thank you for zero help.

Billed me the portion that the Insurance company discounted...aka "Balance billing". Was a patient of theirs since 2003. Tried to get it straightened out with them directly however couldn't get anywhere. They sent me off to a collection agency that asked me to send them my explanation of benefits which I did. Once I provided the evidence that I was being Balance Billed the collection agency told me that my argument was with Dr Bhatt. Go figure, they want me to go back to the source of the problem. Not only have they lost my business (after 15 yrs) I will be sure to share the problems with everyone I know to prevent this from happening to them or someone they may know. I do have a new Dr and they are fantastic. No billing issues and the exams are far more thorough than any exam I have had with Dr Bhatt. I wish I would have switched years ago.

I would never recommend Dr. Bhatt. She spent 10 minutes with me total and billed it as a thirty minute office visit. She did not want to be bothered with a full skin assessment and asked me to show her any problem areas. A first time consultation should include an assessment completed by the doctor not the patient. She basically handed me a peice of paper that said to use mild soaps and lotions. She advised me to use sunscreen. Don't waste your time or money! Terrible bedside manner, in a rush and obviously became a doctor for the money not because she's invested in better health outcomes or because she cares at all about people. I will be finding a new provider.
