Sure Seek K-9 can teach the basics of sit, stay, & heel, like any other trainer, but Ulysses at Seek K-9 is a true behaviorist. My rescue seemed fine when I first got him, but he eventually developed fear aggression towards larger dogs, and to some humans. I was avoiding every person & dog in my building and neighborhood, which would sometimes bring me to tears. What happened to my sweet dog I reached out to other trainers and other so called “behaviorists”, and felt defeated with nowhere else to go. We were fortunate to come across Seek K-9, and now we go to restaurant patios, hardware stores and pet stores. We have behavioral modification tools in the event of certain incidents, but we’re only a couple months in, and the incidents have become very minimal. I was not expecting such a great outcome so soon. Ulysses does a great job of evaluating the dog, developing a plan, and explaining what’s happening and what we’re doing to change the behavior. Ulysses listens, is very open, responsive, and reachable when trying to get your questions answered. Ulysses is truly amazing, and I would never hesitate to refer him to anyone. The entire experience was eye opening, and inspiring. Thank you, Ulysses!

I brought my German shepherd who was dog reactive and was unable to be exposed to other dogs to Seek K-9. I did private lessons with Ulysses. In a span of about a month Ulysses worked with me and Molly showing me how to handle her in certain situations. By the end of my 4th lessons Molly is now able to safely great other dogs without being stressed or reactive. It is now a pleasure taking Molly on walks. I can't say more about Seek K-9 and Ulysses. If your dog needs any kind of training don't hesitate call Ulysses NOW!

We cannot recommend Seek K9 enough!
After rescuing our shepherd mix Highland about 2 years ago, he was really struggling with fear/anxiety and reactivity issues. We did extensive research on where to seek help and are so grateful we found Seek K9! Ulysses was knowledgeable, understanding and made us feel really good about leaving our pup in their hands for 3 weeks. During our weekly visits to see Highland, we could tell he was very happy and healthy. When we got him back from his 3 week board and train, he was a more confident, obedient dog but still had his spunky and sweet personality. Thanks to Ulysses and his team at Seek K9 we can now go on enjoyable walks both on and off leash. We can take Highland to breweries and restaurants without the fear of him reacting and we’re equip with the tools to deal with just about any situation!

We did 4 one hour private training sessions for our 7 month old puppy, Weasley. We split the sessions over the course of 8 weeks to allow time to practice his new skills in between. He only knew sit before we started but now knows down, heel and place (all with an implied stay). We also learned techniques to stop mouthing, jumping and pulling (on leash). Our trainer was Ulysses, and he did a great job with Weasley. We recommend Seek K-9 for your training needs!

I can’t say enough good things about Ulysses and Seek K-9. My Cavapoo is 4 years old and was incredibly reactive on leash with other dogs and had a severe resource guarding issue. As background, my vet told me to take him to a vet behaviorist, noting there was really no other option. It was going to cost thousands and would take 3 months to even do an intake meeting. I knew there had to be another way.

Thank god I happen to pass Seek K-9. I gave Ulysses a call and he was incredibly helpful, very knowledgeable, answered my questions, explained the training option that would be best for our needs and was able to get us in very quickly.

In less than 8 weeks of private lessons, it feels like we have a brand new dog, all thanks to Ulysses’ incredible training skills. We pass and greet other dogs with no problems, we can take things from him without having to worry about a reaction, we can walk without him pulling, etc. My only regret is not coming here sooner. 10/10 recommend.

Highly recommended. We had our medium dog go through a 3-week training and boarding program and she completely transformed: no more accidents indoors, no squirrel chasing during walks, she ignores other dogs, and no more jumping on people. She’s a 3-year-old rescue and is now a joy to walk. Incredible results in just 3 weeks!
We also boarded our 10-year-old Chihuahua during that time and received some basic tips. She barely barks at people or dogs now. Ulysses and the team were fantastic, and the pricing is very competitive.

My German Shepherd Lucas (3 yr old) had pretty bad reactivity with his lunging and constant barking/growling. I did my own research on several places but this location caught my attention the most. Lucas just left the program (3 week board/training) but every week I visited him I saw his improvements and loved the way they cared for him. Eternally grateful for the help and love my boy Lucas got which let’s us enjoy our outings. Highly recommend to anyone.
