Deanne is your pets best advocate. As a certified dog behaviorist and a trainer, she makes sure to work with you in order to find harmony and happiness between you and your pet. Deanne is very knowledgeable about human dog dynamics. Our first session went beyond what I was expecting. Deanne came to our home and went through feeding, toys, sleeping arrangements, routines, etc.; all specifically geared to our family and the way we live.
In the next two sessions we concentrated on training. Deanne takes her time with explaining realistic expectations and educating the humans on how to achieve desired behaviors. She was always available to answer additional questions after our sessions, and is a true professional, providing full write-ups afterwards of what you worked on, exercises to do and expectations for follow-ups.
Deanne really listens and works for what is best for you as the owner and your pets well-being and happiness.

Deanne is an AMAZING trainer. She definitely knows her stuff and she is a very compassionate and understanding person to work with. You can tell she definitely enjoys what she does and she does it for the better of your dog. Even when we aren't training she will still message me checking up on my dogs and making sure they're doing ok. Deanne has a genuine love for animals and you can tell she will treat your baby like they're her own. She has so much compassion and empathy for them, and will never blame your pet for "bad behavior". Her mantra of positive reinforcement and her understanding of dog psychology makes her one of the best trainers I could recommend! I would highly recommend Deanne! She helped us work with our 8 month puppy and within a very short amount of time he was strong in many foundational skills. She is warm, funny, and extremely generous with her time and knowledge. After each session she sent very thorough notes, that would outline work done and what to move towards in the future.

She's also pretty reasonably priced for a one-on-one trainer. Many places we researched were incredibly expensive. Don't hesitate to reach out to her for a free consultation!

We love Deanne! When we rescued our dog Marty (malti-poo) it became clear that he had severe separation anxiety. We are so lucky to have found such a wonderful CSAT trainer in Deanne! She is patient, thoughtful, specific and CARES DEEPLY about our baby. Deanne provides support and guidance with daily training missions that we follow every week! We share a google spreadsheet where we work together to document Marty's progress week to week. Part of the program involves a weekly live assessment with Deanne where we check in about our pup and determine a game plan for the next week. Deanne provides custom training, based off of what Marty's behavior is in the moment. Marty used to freak out if we left for just 1 second and now we've seen that he's capable of remaining calm for almost 30 min! Separation Anxiety training can sometimes be a very long road, and we're so grateful for Deanne that she has helped get us to a place where we can see the light at the end of the tunnel for Marty!
