Ryan is incredibly warm hearted, knowledgeable, good with follow up advice and patient with a first time dog owner(me). He has lots of knowledge about all things doggie, and specifically helped me with leash pulling(still working on that one) barking at other dogs, choice of collar, leash and food and encouraged me to not let my dog dictate what we do.

This is the second puppy I have worked with Ryan with. He is a great sounding board filled with advice during those first crazy puppy weeks home. You feel like you are doing everything wrong and the mayhem will never end! But Ryan keeps you calm and guides you. Ryan's calm demeanor and genuine care for Sassy's well-being made all the difference with potty training, crate training, loose-leash walking, and teaching commands via clicker training like "sit", "touch", and "wait." I feel like I have a much better understanding of my dog's triggers and how to positively influence her and make her feel secure. Ryan also made himself available via text and phone calls to help with any issues in between training sessions, which I found greatly valuable.

Ryan is great. He is super knowledgeable about training. Doesn't believe in harsh tactics and my dog LOVES him. When he walks in the door he's so excited to see him. After our training was complete I put our dog Cal on weekly walks with him so he can continue to work with him on different behaviors I want to work on.

He not only trains the dog but trains the client on how to train the dog as well. He's been a wealth of knowledge about leashes, harnesses and dog foods.

Ryan is an excellent trainer. He has helped us understand our puppy better. His techniques for potty training, walking, nipping, socializing, sleeping through the night….. all are very effective. He made the puppy training experience enjoyable for the whole family. He shares extremely helpful recommendations, tips and tricks throughout the puppy training. Ryan was always available to us whenever we needed any help with our puppy. Our puppy will be back for the intermediate lessons with Ryan.
